Sanuki Sandou is one of my favorite cheap eats in town. The food is more like 3 stars, but in terms of price, it's hard to beat!

A bowl of udon or soba is $4.95. I like the cold soba with dipping sauce, as it's particularly refreshing on hot days. My favorite is the katsudon. For $6.95, you get a pork katsu, eggs, onion and sauce on top of a bed of rice.

Sanuki Sandou accepts credit cards, but not American Express nor Discover. They do not do take out orders.

There's a big parking lot in front of Mitsuwa Marketplace. The eats are better at Santouka and Hannosuke, but Sanuki Sandou's the place to go when you want to fill your belly for cheap.

omgaah this is such great value option in the Mitsuwa Food court! I came on a Tuesday noon with OAT and he got the beef bowl  which was less than $9 iirc and I got the katsudon and a side of fried fish cake #43 chikuwa. Their menu isn't limited to the display window plastic food- they have lots of cheap sides that you can add to your meal!

it wasn't like super duper amazing which is why it isn't 5 but i would def come again.

I have no idea why I ever doubted mitsuwa's food court because it feels like heaven on earth! I had a really hard time picking a spot but finally settled on Sanuki Sandou and I'm so glad I did!

I did the small rice bowl, small noodle, and 2 inari combo (#49) and really enjoyed it!! The beef rice bowl was super flavorful and homey and I really loved the hot soba noodles. Everything was flavored perfectly and the inari was a nice touch! I felt like the meal was filling enough and the value was totally there for it being less than 10$.

This food court is such a gold mine! Feels a little like sawtelle and you can do a lil bit of grocery shopping for your post meal digestion walk! Large parking lot and lots of food court seating. Great for a quick casual meal!! Super excited to go back and try the other stalls!!

Absolutely no flavor in the broth, I was surprised..there wasn't flavor anywhere, salt water with slimy udon noodles. Shrimp tempura was ok, crispy but extremely simple.
But a big bowl of salt water, Sprite, and shrimp tempura was only $9. Cant wait to go back to this market and try all the fun other spots.

I usually just hover around Misasa when I'm at the Mitsuwa food court for reliability in knowing I'd enjoy the curry katsu. But today, I decided to be bold and try Sanuki.. and I'm a fan! I got the #15 Nabeyaki Udon. It was very filling and the soup was god tasty. My team lead got the Onigiri rice balls and found it to be very pleasant. Definitely worth checking out this place if you want to try different cuisines at this already great food court.
